The Doctor Weighs In (TDWI) is a trusted source for cutting-edge, evidence-based stories about innovations in healthcare. It was started by Patricia Salber, MD in 2005 as a blog about obesity and weight loss. As years passed, TDWI began to add a cadre of wonderful writers, both regular and occasional contributors. As our contributors expanded, so did the topics that we covered. We now publish evidence-based stories about almost every topic in healthcare arranged by the following categories: Lifestyle, Medical Care, Policy, Psych, and Women’s Health. We also produce Podcasts and Videos. Many of our stories can be found in all three formats. We want to make it easy to enjoy our stories in the way that you like the best.
